The Seedall's Came to Visit!

Ryan, Ruth and their kids were traveling from Denver to Idaho and were nice enough to stop by Kemmerer and say hello to us. The Seedall's lived here for a couple of years and Ryan was a Therapist at the Counseling Center. They moved two years ago (It is hard to believe it has been that long) so Ryan could go back to school and get his Ph.D (Fancy I know) Anyway, the visit was short, but so worth it. They hit bad weather and were tired by the time they got to us. They looked so worn out, but were good sports and humored us anyway. And they even ate the cupcakes I made with the questionable cream inside! That shows that they are true friends. Thanks for stopping by, you are always welcome. And thanks for the shirts, I will wear mine to work tomorrow! Pictured above is Carson with Spencer and Madelyn. Sorry I didn't get one of Ryan, Ruth or Eliza. Next trip, I will.

I would like your input...

Our family has been asked to talk in church the last week in May (yes we got a lot of notice, because of Ted's schedule, they wanted to make sure it was on a Sunday that he wasn't working.) We have been asked to speak on the talk the President Dieter F. Uchtdorf gave in the Priesthood session of conference. The name of the talk is "A Matter of a Few Degrees" If each of you who actually read this blog could read this talk and give me your thoughts and feelings about it that would be great. I want to give a well rounded talk and I thought getting others opinions might help. (you can find it at www.lds.org, under general conference, then select english, then scroll down to Priesthood session and click on the title of the talk)
THANK YOU! I will look forward to your comments!

The last 2 weeks

We went to Myton again over conference weekend. Well Micalyn, Nick and I went. Ted had to work and Carson hates to travel, so he stayed in Kemmerer with his Grandma Sherry. We had a good time, Nick played to his hearts content in the fascinating world that is Mom and Dad's yard. Micalyn and Kruz were inseparable when they were together and when they weren't, Mica would talk all about "Her Kruz". I plan on visiting Mom and Dad more this year, so you can count on me coming maybe once a month. After I got back from the weekend with Mom and Dad I ended up working quite a bit at work, I usually only work 21 hours a week and I managed to almost double that. The weekend of the 11th I planned on cleaning the inside of the house because I knew that soon the outside yard would be getting my full attention. This last week I got another migraine. I have been getting them a lot lately but this one was so bad it made me sick. It only lasted about 36 hours, but it was 36 hours too long. After my recovery I went back to work and also started doing some vinyl crafting, if that is what you call it. I took some pictures of some of the things I made, I am still figuring out my Cricut and the limitations that it has.
I made only one of the 12x12 tiles, I plan on making more soon. Once I get the hang of it. I also need to buy different colored vinyl. I only have 4 colors and one of them is beige, It wouldn't show up on anything I have. I am going to Park City next weekend and I will pick some more supplies.

This glass block will be for valentine's day. I need to buy some ribbon to make a bow for it. The glass blocks were hard to photograph because of the glare. (yes I turned off my flash, there was still a glare.)

I made the 6x6 tiles quite fast and relatively easy. I need to buy some green vinyl so I can finish the Christmas themed one. After I made all of these I put my craft supplies aside so that we would have room for company. Kacey, Madisen and Pheonix came to visit this weekend. Mica had so much fun playing with a little girl. They were princesses, mommies, horses and they took turns being "Mary Jane" and had Spider man (Carson and/or Nick) save them. No pictures of that, I will try to get some in 6 weeks when they come back to visit. That pretty much sums up the last few weeks. Hopefully I will get it together and post less sporadically.

The Girl Knows How To Dress

My little girl has started dressing herself. Cute, I know. This day she wanted her pink jeans, a pick dress shirt and a pair of blue shortalls! When it was time to go I told her to get her shoes and coat. She grabbed her princess shoes and coat that is about 2 sizes too small. But she loved every minute of it!

Please excuse the mess in the background. I am a working mother of 3 and sometimes I am entitled to a mess.
