Fishing Derby

We took our kids to the fishing derby today. I forgot my camera, so no pictures. The kids had fun. Ted doesn't fish and the last time I went fishing was, well a lifetime ago. We made quite the pair trying to show our kids how to fish. Ted did all the hard work and I would cast out the lines. The kids are excited to do more fishing and Ted and I are ready to learn how so we can take them. Maybe when we go camping with the family this summer the fisherman in the family can give us some pointers.

Nick had his last day of Pre-School

Nick "graduated" from Mrs. Glenna's Pre-School on the 20th. They did a really cute program. They counted, said colors, recited phone numbers, addresses, nursery rhymes and sang. Nick got a lot of laughs for acting out some parts of the nursery rhymes.

Mica was so excited for her big brother, or was it that she was so excited to see a camera and it was pointed right at her?

Carson is out of School!

Carson had his last day of first grade on May 23rd. He was so excited for Summer Break, but when Ted picked him up from school that day, Carson had tears welling up in his eyes because he was going to miss it so much. How cute is that! I took a couple pictures of him that morning before he went to school and Mica just had to join in. She is never far from the camera.

On the last day of school, I let Carson wear a shirt that the kids can sign. His shirt from last year was so big, I let him wear it this year too. He came home with marks all over his belly and back where the ink had bled through.

ON TO SECOND GRADE!!!

Nick Joins the Kemmerer Little League.

Nick has joined the little league and is loving it. Since it is his first year eligible to play they start out with T-Ball. (Thank Heaven!) We took Nick to Alco to get a Glove and Mica was so excited she wanted one too. Do you think her Dad would tell her no! So I took a picture of the two of them with their mits. (Carson got one too, but he was at school when I took this picture.)

I made a Smile Box with some pictures I took of his first Practice and Games 1,2 and 3. Game 4 is tonight!
