The DownTown Denver Auqarium

This was so fun. It smelled like fish, but I got used to it. The kids had fun and Mica got really excited to see Nemo and Dorie
I wanted to take a picture of the octopus, but you had to turn your flash off or it would ink, and it was too dark in the tank to see the octopus with out a flash. Out side they had a bubble machine. The kids played in that for a while. I will make a slide show and put all the pitcures on it. I couldn't fit them all in the smile box.

David's Homecoming

David came home June 7th. The kids and I went to Roosevelt on June 5th. We spent some time with The Cambrige's before everyone arrived.Kolby sure likes that Apple! We went to the park and had lunch on Friday. After that... We went to Jalynn's concert. It was so good. Jalynn: Good Job!We were all together again for the first time since Bryan left for Iraq in 2005!!!
So David, nice to have you home.

Carson turned 7!

Carson's Birthday was June 4th, but since I couldn't find my camera I haven't posted it yet. Carson wanted a Sperm Whale cake this year. I tried my best. I came out ok. Carson informed me what I could do to make it more realistic, but was still satisfied with what I did do. I had to add the "scars" from the fights with giant squid, but I flat out refused to make a squid or re-shape the cake. Carson didn't think it was quite the shape it needed to be.Carson got a PT-109 Boat from Grandma and Grandpa Carlson, A remote control truck from Mom and Dad, a Cattle Hauling Semi from Mica and a Track Hoe from Nick. Happy Birthday my Son. I love you!

I found my Camera!!!

I found it a while ago but have been busy so I haven't posted anything yet. No more excuses. It is time to post what has been happening lately.

Ted's Mom is Home

Well, Sherry is finally home. She has been in a hospital in SLC for the last 3 1/2 weeks. She got home last night and Carson said it all "Boy Grandma, you sure look better then the last time we saw you!" Which is true, she looks a lot better then the last time we saw her. The kids missed her and are glad she is back. She isn't 100% yet, but hopefully she will be soon.

Happy Father's Day

I know I am a little late with this craft idea, since today is Father's Day but if by some off chance you haven't got a card for the Father's in your life here is a father's day card design that I thought was cool.
1. To make one, first cut a 4- by 12-inch rectangle from a piece of decorative scrapbook paper and fold it in half to create a double-layer 4- by 6-inch rectangle.
2. Form the collar by cutting 2 matching 1-inch-long horizontal slits about 1 inch below the fold.
3. Fold over the 2 flaps as shown, then glue them down with a 5-inch-long tie shape cut from another piece of decorative paper glued between them. Glue a pair of small buttons to the collar.
4. Once the glue has dried, lift the bottom front of the card and write a Father's Day greeting inside.

So to all the Dad's I know HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!

No Pictures!

I lost my camera somewhere. I was going to post the pictures of Carson's Birthday and David's Homecoming, but I can't find the thing anywhere. It will turn up sooner or later. Carson turned 7 on June 4th. Ted had the day off, I had to work. So after I got off work we opened his presents, had dinner of his choice, ate a cake that was shaped like a Sperm Whale and went to Evanston to watch the movie of his choice. Dinner was Chinese Casserole and the movie was Indiana Jones. Mr. Lucas, sir, you should have stopped at 3! It wasn't a bad movie, just not as good as the first 3. David, it was so good to see you! Welcome home. When your not feeling so tired maybe we can sit down and talk. I want to hear all about your mission, people you met, experiances you had, food you ate (Kangaroo?) and any and everything else. You have made me Australia hungry. I want to go visit and see what it has to offer.

I added music

I have about 15 songs at the bottom of the page that took me back, there are more but I had to have a realistic number. I will try to change it up every once in a while. Maybe I will let the kids choose the songs next time. That would be funny. It would go from Johnny Cash to Fergie! What a combo!
